Blue toned watercolor abstract painting with orange and yellow tones. The inner circle looks like it is the fire and the outer edges are the sky. The painting is signed by the artist in the circle as well as on the back where is is dated. Painting is framed in a silver metal frame.

Artist Biography

Charles Arthur Turner was born in Houston, Texas in 1940. Through the 1960’s he received his B.A. from North Texas State University and his M.F.A. at Cranbrook Academy of Art. Along with multiple exhibitions and Turner taught at multiple institutions across the country including the Glassell School of Art at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston as well as at the University of Houston. He is best known for his abstract works on paper.
