Colorful Impressionist mixed media collage of Church Steeples that incorporates newspaper and bright hues of yellow, orange, black, and white. Signed and dated by the artist at the bottom of the piece (Bill Condon '69). The piece is nicely displayed in a tan matting and frame.

Artist Biography

Born in 1923, Bill Condon was a native Houstonian, a practicing architect and a fine artist in his home town. He received a BA in architecture from Rice Institute in 1949 and assumed a position in the architectural firm of Broesche and Condon Associates. As an artist, Condon was ingenious, excelling as a print-maker and painter. Condon showed regularly in the Annual Exhibition of Work by Houston Artists from 1954 to 1962. Condon passed away in 1998.
