Artist Biography

Boris Artzybasheff was born in Ukraine and moved the New York City in 1919 to work in an engraving shop. Later, he worked on illustrations for Time Magazine, Life, and Fortune from 1942 to 1966. After 1940 he started to work on more commercial projects for companies like Shell and Xerox.
