Artist Biography

Luis Eades was born in Madrid, Spain in 1923. He received his Bachelor's degree at Bath Art School and Slade School of Art in London, England. He furthered his education at Instituto Politecnico Nacional in Mexico and the University of Kentucky and then went on to teach at the University of Texas from 1952 - 1961 and then at the University of Colorado until 1983. He spent his remaining years in Boulder, CO where he passed away in 2014.
