Peggy's illumination technique, or glow, is the trademark of all her work, giving her paintings a refreshing aliveness and sense of being there. Ms. Byars has studied with Cowboy Artists of America Museum in Kerrville: Harvey Johnson, Melvin Warren, Gary Carter, James Boren and Ken Riley.
