Joel Gonzalez Navarro was born in the Federal District of Mexico in 1934. He studied at the National School of Plastic Art. He has murals in Tijuana which he is known for, as well as gaining importance for both drawling and paintings. He has had much recognition from articles written about him in nationally and internationally as well.
