Beautiful landscape painting by renowned artist and co-founder of the Woodstock School of Art. Robert Angeloch was born on April 8, 1922 in Queens, New York. He studied at the Art Students League of New York, Academy of Fine Arts, Florence, Italy, and privately with Fiske Boyd in Plainfield, New Hampshire. He exhibited at the Metroplitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Library of Congress, Society of American Graphic Artists, Allied Artists of America, Audobon Artists, Academic Artists Association, Spring- field Museum, New Britain Museum, Berkshire Museum, Albany Institute of History and Art, Schenectady Museum, Cooperstown Art Association, DeCordova and Dana Museum, Philadelphia Print Club, Riverside Museum, Society of Washington Printmakers, Silvermine Guild, Provincetown Art Association, Roberson Museum, National Academy of Design, Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute, Associated American Artists Gallery and many others. From 1952 to 2006 he had over eighty one man shows in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, New Mexico, New York City and Italy including Retrospective Exhibitions at the Berkshire Museum, the Albany Institute of History and Art, and the Wood- stock Artists Association.
