Soft portrait painting of a family of three by artist Jean Baptist Valadié also known as Johny Valadié in swirling reds, greens and blues. Titled, "Soleil au le Pré" which translates to "Sun on the Meadow." Hung in a two toned black and wood frame. Signed in lower right corner. Certificate of authenticity signed by artist on reverse.

Artist Biography

Jean-Baptiste Valadié was born in Brive la Gaillarde, France in 1933. Valadié is a painter, printmaker, draftsman, sculptor, lithographer and illustrator. He made his first steps in Charpentier in Montparnasse in Applied Arts and then traveled the world with eager curiosity. Valadié over time became a follower of copper engraving and lithography on stone. His subjects are mainly landscapes and women.
